I moved from the South of NZ to the West of Ireland in 2004 and met Cormac Breatnach in Kinvara. I had long admired Cormac's music and I picked up The Minded from playing subsequent gigs with him in New York and in sessions in Kinvara. The second piece is from Jimmy Young who was integral in supporting me in my early days of playing in NZ. I have always loved the sound of the bouzouki and flute/whistle together. This is for two of my favorite flute and whistle players whose music has moved and inspired me for many years.
